Eastergate bridge (also know as Close Gate Bridge on OS maps) in Marsden used to form part of the packhorse route between Huddersfield and Rochdale. Today it makes for a nice photo and an easy way of crossing Green Owlers Clough.
Taken on a walk with Stuart. I had to go and see this after spotting Bobs photo of it. Shame it was a bit of a white out.. It makes it hard to see the hills behind the bridge.
