My second visit to the stunning Manor House, Lindley within a year saw me working as the wedding photographer for Lisa and Jordan. Although it was my second wedding celebration at the Manor House, it was the first time I had captured an actual ceremony there. The clever layout that they have means they can create many different spaces to accommodate different sized congregations with Lisa and Jordan using a space in the Coach House between the Art Deco bar and the larger area that was used for their wedding reception.
My day started at about 10am, arriving early to capture a few shots of the venue before going to find Lisa who was having her hair done. I never push it but I always think it’s a nice part of the day to capture – a relatively calm time with some of your closest friends and family. It’s also nice for the other partner to see what was happening.
As the boys arrived, I met them in the Coach House, pinched the rings from the best man and got a couple of informal shots before things started to get busy.
The “I do’s” were over in a flash but marked the start of something new and the celebrations began.
Shortly after 10pm I went to say good night to the new Mr and Mrs Smith. Congratulations and all the very best for the future!
