Congratulations to the couple that put the rock in rock climbing, Eleanor and Ben, who celebrated their wedding at Hinchliffe Farm. I was delighted to be their wedding photographer.
Just wow! What an absolute joy it was to photographing such a colourful, happy, celebratory wedding. As you’ll see from their photos, Eleanor and Ben didn’t play it by the book.. Eleanor’s wedding dress (made by her Mum!), the tie dye waist coats (made by Eleanor), the dinosaur confetti, dinosaur cake (not forgetting the pork pie!) and the button pergola – all colourful, beautiful personal touches.
The wedding was hosted in a marquee opposite Hinchliffe’s farm shop which is located between Honley and Netherton, Huddersfield. The weather was fantastic but with little shade to be had, we escaped to Spring Wood (about two minutes walk away) for a little woodland themed shoot and made the best of the shade provided by a large tree with some pretty cool dilapidated farm machinery under it. Hinchliffe’s catered for the wedding serving a BBQ during the day and a buffet in the evening (what a treat to get some of their pork pie – my second wedding with this great team!)
The ceremony was expertly conducted by the bride and grooms friend (and also mine), James Pawson.
In the evening, the music was provided by Benn Kafanke – I don’t think I’ve ever seen a DJ put so much energy into a set before (or look to be enjoying it quite as much as Benn!)
Remember guys, couples that climb together, stay together! Cheers!
