I had the absolute pleasure of photographing Rebecca and Dan on their wedding day a couple of weeks ago. Their wedding was at Christ Church, New Mill Church and was followed by a marque reception at Woodhead Barn in the hills above Holmfirth.
My day started by meeting the ladies at BB’s hair salon in Holmfirth to capture a bit of the morning excitement (the highlight had to be the rain bonnets!) before heading up to Coddy’s Farm  to meet the lads. As usual, time was zipping by before my eyes and it was soon time to head back to the other side of the valley to Rebecca’s Dads house. Dan was picked up in Herbie (complete with a driver on this occasion) before the little beetle came and parked up ready to take the ladies to the Church (which you could see in the background – lovely!)
With the “I do” bit done, we rattled through a few group shots and a confetti bombing session and then headed off to take some official wedding photographs of Dan and Rebecca at a top secret location that we had found on their pre-wedding shoot. With that done, we set off on our final little drive of the day back to the barn to meet up with the rest of their guests for a a fun evening at Woodhead Barn. To give a little extra space, a marquee had been set up with direct access to the barn which worked really well – Rebecca’s personal touches were everywhere with home made bunting, pom poms and table decorations. The personalised travel themed cake was created by Ruddi’s, The Vintage Tea Room. With good food and even better music provided by Vibetown, the evening was a blast! Congratulations on a fantastic wedding day and all the very best for your married life together – I had a great day with you and your guests!
